SDR Architect
Location: San Jose, CA
Position Type: Employee
Position Duration: Full-Time
The successful candidate will be responsible for system software
technology development for next generation communication system architectures.
This role involves leading a small team to integrate and develop next generation
communication architectures using Software Defined Radio (SDR). This position
involves applying knowledge of communication system software design, signal
processing, and reconfigurable systems in order to develop prototype systems
and create novel technologies in the field. Excellent communication and team
working skills are required with a willingness to work with an international
team to deliver strong architecture designs and rapid prototype implementations.
This position requires Masters or higher degree and at least 8-10 years experience
in an R&D environment with some leadership experience. In general, the
candidate must have a systems software and embedded systems background including
skills such as real-time systems, client-server protocols, and middleware.
In addition, the candidate should have experience with communication systems
hardware, reconfigurable systems, and FPGA or DSP experience. Knowledge of
signal processing techniques, SDR technologies, wireless communication standards,
and integration of COTS hardware/software is also highly desirable.
