NewTV AV Engineer
Location: Irvine, CA
Position Type: Employee
Position Duration: Full-Time
Requirements:
- Degreed professional with MS in EE/CS
- 10 or more years experience in Digital STB AV(MPEG/Window
Media) driver and PVR programming on an RTOS(VxWorks, Embedded Linux, pSOS)
for RISC (MIPS, PowerPC) Platforms
- Experience in digital video and set-top box and
consumer electronics software
- Experience in any of the major digital
video platforms such as General Instrument / Motorola, Scientific Atlanta,
or DVB systems
- Knowledge of OpenCable and DOCSIS
- Knowledge of Digital STB Middleware(i.e. OpenTV,
Liberate), CAS systems, MS Win-PVR, OpenCable/DOCSIS
