NewTV MiddleWare Engineer
Location: Irvine, CA
Position Type: Employee
Position Duration: Full-Time
Requirements:
- Degreed professional with BS in EE/CS
- 5 or more years experience in Digital STB Middleware
(i.e. OpenTV, Liberate) and CAS(i.e. Mediacipher) programming on an RTOS(VxWorks,
Embedded Linux, pSOS) for RISC (MIPS, PowerPC) Platforms
- Experience in digital video and set-top box and
consumer electronics software
- Experience in Electronic Program Guide development
(is ideal)
- Experience in any of the major digital video platforms
such as General Instrument / Motorola, Scientific Atlanta, or DVB systems
Knowledge of OpenCable and DOCSIS
