SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER (Irvine, CA). This position requires a self-motivated research engineer to develop video algorithms to enhance Samsung's Digital Television (DTV) products. Responsible for developing various advanced video enhancement algorithms, writing technical reports, patents and papers. Mst have either A PhD in Electrical Engineering or Master's Degree with a minimum of 2 years related experience. Skills must include: image processing and image enhancement, including noise reduction, deinterlacing, video formation conversion; motion estimation and motion compensation; statistics estimation theory, probability theory and video standards; Visual C++ programming and Matlab.
